On Friday, June 18th, young Hollywood actress and star of the Netflix series Anne with an E, Miranda McKeon, announced on Instagram that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer at age 19. McKeon poignantly writes of her diagnosis, future treatments and her feelings of being a young breast cancer patient.
